Accessibility Statement for IWO’S Meat Burger

1. Commitment to Accessibility At IWO’S Meat Burger, we place the highest importance on providing equal, respectful, accessible, and professional service to all customers, including people with disabilities. We work continuously and invest resources to make both our website and our physical restaurant accessible, so that every person can enjoy an independent, safe, and comfortable browsing and visiting experience.

2. Website Accessibility This website has been made accessible in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations 2013 and Israeli Standard SI 5568, based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at AA level. The accessibility adjustments implemented on the site include, among others

Accessibility Menu and Plugin The site includes an advanced accessibility plugin. Clicking the accessibility button (located in the corner of the screen) opens a menu that allows users to change font sizes, adjust color contrast (high, dark, or light), highlight links, pause animations, and optimize the site for easier reading.

Keyboard Navigation Full support for navigating the site using a keyboard (such as Tab, Enter, and arrow keys) without the need for a mouse.

Screen Reader Compatibility The site structure and code are written semantically to support convenient browsing with screen reader software for blind and visually impaired users.

Alternative Text for Images (Alt Text) Text descriptions have been added to images and menu items to help convey their content.

3. Physical Accessibility Arrangements at the Restaurant (Hillel 24, Jerusalem) We work to provide convenient access and accessible service to all of our customers

Parking and Access Routes Designated accessible parking spaces are available on the sidewalks near the restaurant, as well as in a private parking lot that includes accessible spaces on two intersecting streets near the restaurant. The path from the street to the entrance is continuous, level, and step free.

Entrance to the Restaurant The entrance door is wide (over 80 cm) and allows safe and convenient access for wheelchairs.

Seating and Ordering Accessible tables are available. The ordering counter is approximately 90 cm high. If needed, we will be happy to assist and take orders conveniently by phone as well.

Restrooms The restrooms inside the restaurant require going down stairs. However, accessible public restrooms are available directly across from the restaurant (arranged and approved as part of the business license).

Personal Assistance and Aids Our staff will be happy to assist customers with visual impairments by reading the menu. An assistive listening system (hearing loop) is not installed at the counter, as the counter is not voice operated.

Service Animals We warmly welcome guests with disabilities who are accompanied by service animals, such as guide dogs.
